Your security is our priority

Recently the platforms of the Aqueduct and Sewage Authority (AAA) were at risk due to a cyber-attack.

We are working together with the Federal Bureau of Investigation (FBI), Puerto Rico Innovation & Technology Service (PRITS), and Cybersecurity & Infrastructure Security Agency (CISA) to strengthen our cybersecurity system to prevent future attacks.

The protection of our customers' data is fundamental. The recent cyber-attack events of the AAA platform, could’ve compromised the following subscriber information:

  • First and last names

  • Social Security Numbers

  • Driver’s licenses

  • Passport numbers

  • Election cards

  • Other personal identification

Protect yourself from possible identity theft:

  • Request a free credit report on annualcreditreport.com

  • Frequently monitor your credit activity

  • Request alerts on unusual activity on your credit report

  • Request at least one year of credit monitoring

  • Access IdentityTheft.gov/databreach

  • If you discover unauthorized charges or transactions, report them immediately
